In Marv Hamilton's own words, "I was spending a lot of time in the desert; Canyonlands, the San Rafael Swell,
Waterpocket Fold, Capital Reef and the Burr Trail. They are magical, wondrous, irreplaceable places. There was talk of paving the Burr Trail. I had read Monkey Wrench Gang and learned that Hayduke was a Nam vet like myself. He came home from that war to a war on the land in the West." Marv’s passionate rich voice, classy guitar picking, harmonica and catchy melody pull you into this song.
